Brand management for 50,000 employees at 1,000 locations worldwide

A consistent brand image for a global company: this challenge was at the heart of the requirements that TKE placed on its new web-to-publish solution.

With the introduction of be.print, all employees worldwide can customize high-quality marketing materials directly via TKE's central corporate design (CD) portal to suit their individual requirements.

Central control for decentralized requirements

TK Elevator (TKE) is a global leader in vertical transportation and urban mobility. The aim of the new solution was to provide all 50,000 employees at over 1,000 locations worldwide with quick and easy access to professional layout templates via a central system, enabling them to adapt these templates to local requirements in a cost-effective manner.

A particular focus was placed on maintaining brand consistency throughout. The corporate design was newly developed in 2021 by the now independent company following its spin-off from the thyssenkrupp Group in 2020. Accordingly, it was important to TKE that adjustments to the templates provided could be made quickly, easily, and intuitively, without compromising on design quality.

In addition, seamless integration into the company's own corporate design portal as the central access point for brand-related matters was an important part of the requirements catalog.

Here are the advantages at a glance:

  • Quick access via single sign-on
  • Self-explanatory operation
  • Convenient adjustment
  • Guaranteed CD compliance

With full support from day one

After evaluating several providers, TKE opted for the solution from be.print. The decisive factors were not only the functional advantages, but also the comprehensive service and support offered. To conserve internal resources at TKE, the be.print design team is responsible for creating all templates in TKE's corporate design. At the same time, be.print is assisting TKE with the further optimization of its system. Additional requirements, new functions, and adjustments are coordinated in regular meetings. The user interface is already available in two languages, with more planned.

Integration creates simple workflows

All TKE employees can use be.print directly via the internal portal. Thanks to single sign-on (SSO), access is automatic and login details do not need to be re-entered. This makes the service low-threshold and easily accessible. At the same time, it guarantees that all information is always up to date and consistent. The specialists at be.print and TKE ensured the seamless integration of both systems before the system was launched.

Promotion and tutorials for high acceptance

To raise awareness of the system, it is regularly promoted through internal reporting. Clear tutorial videos show how easy the system is to use and how quickly you can achieve a good result—a print-ready PDF. be.print also created the videos for TKE.

Even more products, even more orders

The new system is already proving very popular with users. The current product range includes various information sheets and posters. TKE also offers digital templates via the system, such as banners for Outlook newsletters. TKE plans to expand further and would like to make the portal available in other languages.

"To strengthen our still young global brand, corporate design is particularly important to us. With be.print, we can be sure that the layouts will always meet our high quality standards after customization."
